Description

One of the heart tests that we can use at Venturi Cardiology is an echocardiogram test. This is a completely non-invasive procedure and uses sound waves to create a picture of your heart, in much the same way as the ultrasound technology that is used to scan pregnant women and produce a picture of their baby. The procedure is very straightforward and may be completed in as little as 15 minutes, although somewhere between half an hour and an hour is more likely. It is a very common test, and most people find it not uncomfortable, although you might feel a bit of pressure on the skin.
